Vero Beach activities across the street?

Does anyone know what Activities take place "across the street" at Vero beach? we've been on a bike ride a few times over that way and have never seen anyone over there. i thought i saw soccer nets and a basketball court? Do you need to set up an appointment to use these things or can you just go over and use them as you want? Also for anyone who has been, what types of things did you do or see people doing?? Thanks!

They run events over there and use the BBQ area during certain times of the year. For example you can do archery lessons. Most of the events are listed in the guides or in the community hall and lobby areas. There also is a small hiking trail with signs along the way that mention what types of critters and plants are native to the area.

This post made me laugh because my in-laws live across the street from Disney's Vero Beach! It's across the street and down a little. Lots of activities go on there!

Do you have to sign up to use the tennis courts, soccer nets, and basketball nets? Etc.... or can you just go use them as you please? Also how are the nature trails???? How long and are they worth doing?

I saw an archery class over there too- pretty sure you sign up in advance for that one. I believe you don't need to reserve the basketball or tennis courts but do need to go check out the balls/rackets. I would confirm this first though as I'm not 100%.
