Vero Availability - 2-BR in July

In case anyone is wanting to book a 2-BR at VB this summer, I would suggest you call now, or call at the 7 month mark.

I booked 7 nights in a 2-BR lockoff (July 19 - 26) at the 11 month mark. Over the last week, since I'm at the 7 month window, I have tried to switch 2 week nights (any of them) and 1 weekend night over to my SSR contracts. I want to retain some of those VB points for the 8 - 11 month booking window for next year.

I have been calling daily, and I could not get any of the week nights until today. I was able to get W - F (7/23 - 7/25) and linked the reservation. I'm thrilled that I was able to switch. However, I just wanted you guys to know that I'd call ASAP or call right at the 7 month mark if you're hoping to spend a few nights at VB this summer. Seems Fri/Sat nights are more readily available since the points are so high (72 per weekend night , versus 29 per week night).

Yeah!!! I'm really excited to go to VB. We bought sight unseen, but we LOVE the beach. We're hoping we can do a beach/WDW combo each year!

Yes, me, too! To be honest, I'm really glad we purchased there. Since we try to do a week at the beach, I'm not sure I would have had much luck booking the entire week at the 7 month mark. Maybe a few days here or there, but a full week for the last two years would have been out of the question (unless a wait list would have come through). I will admit, though, last year I did not call at the 7 month window. It was more around the 5 month mark.

With more and more people joining DVC, its natural that at some point members will look to other places to vacation besides WDW. (I know that is hard to believe! ). I grew up with the beach, and Vero is just beautiful and relaxing. So glad I bought there too!!

Wow! I guess it will be busy when we are there in July. We have a beach cottage for 7/18-7/24. We also own at Vero and just LOVE it! You have got to try the Beach Cottage sometime, they are amazing! If you can stay away from the weekends you can get 5 nights for just 265 points in the summer.

Ok, I'm gonna prep you Buckeye Fan!! You are going to drive thru residential types of neighborhoods getting to the resort. Remember this is a beachy town,and it is NOT in the town of Vero Beach (its in Sebastian). Just get thru the drive....you'll cross over a bridge and suddenly it will start to hit you...hhhmmm, I'm at the beach! Not a dramatic front entrance, quaint I would say. Once you step in....aaahhhh....we are at Disney!!!! Then, walk outside, take a look at that beach.... .Grounds are beautiful, pool is great. Take time to go into the town of Vero Beach....very upscale. Nothing like Sebastian. Just remember, beach and pool time!!
