Can anyone list or scan a copy of a recent daily Vero acitivity listing. We are heading there this summer, and I'd like to take a look.

It's been a couple years sinec we were there, and DS (7) and nephew (7) will be older enough this time to really take part in some of the activities.

Thanks in advance.:goodvibes

Signing in too since we are going to be there in June and would love to know what's available each day. Our boys still don't know about the trip and we can't wait to tell them.

There is a list of daily activities at VB on the DVCmember.com website. Click the link about VB.

Thanks Rob :thumbsup2 .

I never knew they had that info on the website.

We were there over Easter week with a 11yo, 9yo & 8yo. The pool kept them busy most of the time! The rec cast members did pool games (timed water slide races, games with hula hoops, funny dances poolside, etc).
The ocean was a bit rough in March, but you can get boogie boards and sand toys from the rental center.
My 11yo and I rented bikes and went about 1/2 way down to Pelican Island reserve, but got rained on and turned back.
My 9yo had never played bocce ball before and Vero has a beautiful manicured lawn overlooking the ocean so we did alot of that!
Also the shuffleboard court next to the pool was fun!
The mini golf course is only 9 holes but winds around one end of the pool area so it is easy to keep an eye on your kids if they want to play alone. One $5 fee at the beginning of your stay buys you all the time you want on the mini-golf course.
We didn't do alot of the planned activities, but the craft lady was there just about every day with something different.
Did go to the campfire at night which was alot like HH's - great fun for my kids.

We found alot to do at Vero, even though it is a more relaxed pace than WDW.
If you have any other questions, let me know!

That's all great info, we are thinking of going in mid-Dec this year. Has anybody else been at this time? Just wondering about the weather- I can also look it up on the web, but just wondering about the activities. Do they slow down considerably at this time of year?

I know it's a strange time of year to visit the beach, but I thought the water would be decently warm, maybe even warmer than the early spring. Just thought it would be easier to get into Vero at this time of year, seeing that it's not our home resort.

Thinking of a split with vero and then go on to WDW itself for the second week-xmas finishing off the trip.

I just had a thought that perhaps someone can answer for me. Our evenings in Nova Scotia (even in summer) can get a bit chilly. Wondering if I should be packing long pants for everyone for those evening campfires??

Counting off the days until we arrive.
Thanks Joan

Hey Joan, I think it always pays to have at least one long pair of pants and shirt packed. Likely, you're used to chilly temps more than most and it won't be a temperature issue but, If you're going to the campfire I would suggest you wear long pants at least and maybe shirt just protect yourself from the no-see-ums. Then put some Cutter advanced or Avon repellent on your remaining exposed areas..... Otherwise, you're dinner for the evening.

My turtle is just ahead of your jetliner. :beach:
