We're planning a trip to Vero in Sept 2015 (as long as I can snag the ressie in Feb, which I am not thinking will be too hard). I am hoping to save some points unless I can convince my DH we need 50 more points (chances slim to none) and get a 1 Br for our family of five--we'll have twin 3 yr olds and the baby will be 1 yr.

Think we'll have enough space in a 1 Br? We've been using pack n plays. The girls sleep in toddler beds right now, but a yr from now who knows. Any parents have any ideas? Is Vero good with toddlers?

Honestly, only you can answer that question for your family.

If you are talking you, your spouse, two 3-year old children and a 1-year old child, I personally think it should be doable unless the kids are really, really light sleepers.

I would think you'd be fine in a 1br with that makeup. The 1 brs are nice and roomy.

I think it will be fine with little kids but in 10 years when they are mostly teenagers a two bedroom will be needed at least that's been our experience.

Vero's one bedrooms are large. My 21 and 15 year olds had plenty of space in the living room with the sofa and sleeper chair. The patio is large, too, so our family felt there was plenty of room to spread out. We even had family over for dinner one night (5 extra people) and did not feel crowded.

Yes, you will be fine in a 1BR. And yes, Vero is AWESOME for little ones with a splash area and a playground. But they will be too young for most of the crafts and community hall activities. Best ages for Vero, IMO, are 4-9.
