there are ways around it.. easiest was the send it to yourself and save it.Very cool. I am going to check out phonezoo.
I always thought with Verizon you had to purchase the ringtones from them.
you can get a Versa or a Chocolate Touch.. they don't require it.I really do like the env3. I just was playing with my husbands rogue and realy like the touchscreen. If it wouldn't have been for the stupid data plan change required on that phone, I would have got that one. I don't know yet. Still playing.
okay, but how do I get the sounds on my computer??? I don't have an ipod or anything, I'm soooooooooo far behind
To get sounds, like the sound recordings or music? If its sounds, and you have a microcard in it, just put th ecard in the adapter, and put it in a media reader spot in your PC (if you have it). Then look for the folder <my_sounds> (i think it is, as there is a MY_FLIXS, MY_MUSIC, MY_PICS, etc)... then you can move and copy from there.
sounds are usually in a format that Quicktime can read. movies (yes you can put movies in the Flixs folder) are 3GP format. i've got Madagascar, UP, Tinkerbell and now Santa Buddies on my card.
Won't work for sound recordings.. just music. You only need windows media player, then you just copy your music onto your computer and go from there.
