Verizon wireless free ringtones

Very cool. I am going to check out phonezoo.

I always thought with Verizon you had to purchase the ringtones from them.

there are ways around it.. easiest was the send it to yourself and save it.

I really do like the env3. I just was playing with my husbands rogue and realy like the touchscreen. If it wouldn't have been for the stupid data plan change required on that phone, I would have got that one. I don't know yet. Still playing.

okay, but how do I get the sounds on my computer??? I don't have an ipod or anything, I'm soooooooooo far behind

you can get a Versa or a Chocolate Touch.. they don't require it.

To get sounds, like the sound recordings or music? If its sounds, and you have a microcard in it, just put th ecard in the adapter, and put it in a media reader spot in your PC (if you have it). Then look for the folder <my_sounds> (i think it is, as there is a MY_FLIXS, MY_MUSIC, MY_PICS, etc)... then you can move and copy from there.

sounds are usually in a format that Quicktime can read. movies (yes you can put movies in the Flixs folder) are 3GP format. i've got Madagascar, UP, Tinkerbell and now Santa Buddies on my card.

You only need windows media player, then you just copy your music onto your computer and go from there.

Won't work for sound recordings.. just music.

For sound recordings we just record them on our phones and then set them as we want them. DD9 had her text tone as her sister singing, she just recorded it on her phone and then set it as her text alert. DBF recorded an R2D2 toy at DLR over the weekend and set it as his text alert, so when he gets a text R2 screams and beeps at him. LOL

Edited to add that we couldn't do this on our old phones, they didn't have the record ability but our new ones do.

Myxertones.com is a good one for ringtones. We have Verizon and it works for us.

I agree with this....I use it too for my Blackberry and I have Verizon I also use crackberry.com
