Verizon -time for new phone

Time for new phone. Walmart has promo for iPhone 6. Can I take advantage of that as my contract is up rather than go through Verizon themselves. Will everything still be the same as if u went thru verizon?

I got my I phone at Target. Your Verizon contract is the same. The differences I saw were that they would not put it in the Otter Box like Verizon will for you. Also Target's phone insurance is another company than the Verizon one. I declined it and added through Verizon.

You mean they would not physically put it in the otterbox? As far as ins I also would like to keep the Verizon ins. Can u choose the Verizon ins at time of purchase or have to call them and add it seperately?

Were they able to transfer all your apps and photos from old phone to new phone like Verizon does?

It does not cover loss or theft. I had a phone stolen actually from my bag at a pool at a Disney resort. That is important coverage to me.

They would not put in otterbox. I thought it was harder than it was because DS has a different case that is hard to use. I didn't buy Otterbox at Target since they would not put on but went to Verizon store. I bought Otterbox and they put it together and moved contacts and such and added insurance.

I'm considering a new phone and plan with Verizon instead of my current plan. I'm thinking of going with Best Buy for a iPhone 6s for $299 with a two year contract. Noticed that Verizon doesn't do these anymore if buying direct thru them. I'm perfectly fine with keeping an iPhone for minimum of 2 years before upgrading if I'm getting the newest phone now. I've been an iPhone user for about 5 years now and have only had a 3gs and a 5 in that time frame. The only real reason I switched to the 5 when I did was the 3 wasn't going to be supported with app upgrades, etc really any more.

Got an e-mail from Walmart today that they have a promo wherein you get $100 credit. $50 is bill credit and other $50 comes off price of the phone so your monthly pymt is a little lower . This includes iPhone 5, 6 and 6s
