Verizon iPhone 4 Drops Calls

I got my Verizon Iphone early in the morning the first day, it was delivered on the 7th of February and I've not dropped a call yet. Much better service than my Blackberry on Verizon. I'm not complaining! I'm a very happy camper!

Same here!! I love my iPhone. I've had the phone since Feb 7th and haven't dropped a call at all. So glad I made the decision to get the phone. I've wanted an iPhone since they first came out but was almost talked out of it when Verizon released their phone. I'm so glad that I decided that I just had to get one because I love it!!

We got ours on Valentines day and have not dropped a call either.

We switched from Sprint where I dropped calls daily. Very happy with Verizon and my iPhone.

Ditto. Spent the entire trip watching JJ on his Verizon iPhone while John and I had no service. Definitely switching when contract up in June.

Was that in Southern CA? Here in the Bay Area, we have had excellent service with AT&T.

Take EVERYTHING you read from consumer reports with a grain of salt. That includes, well, pretty much anything they review. I've owned some of the best products in the world, from cars, to stereo equipment, that in past years they ranked very, very low.

They seem to have some beef with the iPhone, ever since they first reviewed it, and jumped on the whole antennae issue thing. Someone needs to tell them it didn't hurt the product to much eh?

I've had the iPhone 4 on ATT since it's inception. Zero dropped calls, even if I'm standing on my head gripping it like a gorilla.

Just got my Verizon iPhone last week. After hearing about all my AT&T buddies having problems, I had to jump on this. It's been amazing so far.

I previously had a Verizon Blackberry & the iPhone blows it away !!!

I'm super happy with my Verizon iPhone and I always seem to have all 5 bars

I was going to get my Verizon iphone this afternoon, but friends of mine, who got theirs Monday, have been having issues with 3G access, where they didn't have these issues with their DROID. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks!

I have had my iPhone since Valentine's Day. Loved the iPhone since it came out with AT&T but wasn't willing to switch from Verizon. I love my iPhone. A few days after getting it I flew to California. I have had zero problems with reception, dropped calls, etc. I flew Airtran and even used their wireless internet while flying and had no problems with the Safari web browser. We got stuck in Milwaukee due to snow and again had perfect reception - able to surf internet to find a hotel for the night and get in touch with family at home. I am so happy I switched to the iPhone and now don't know how I survived without it.
Many people advised me not to get the phone...all the talk of the possibility of a new phone this summer, the phone on the 3G network, not being able to surf and talk. I went from a normal wireless plan w/ no data so I am just thankful to have the data plan, etc. I don't need to surf and talk - atleast I have no need right now.
Satisfied Verizon customer with iPhone! Highly recommend!!

No - no issues with the 3G access at all.

I have yet to drop a call with my Verizon iPhone.

I constantly dropped calls with AT&T and am SO glad to be rid of them.
