Verifying Closing Costs!

This should go without saying, but always verify with your agent that all costs are correct if they do not look right. I am in the process of closing on a resale at SSR and the dues I am supposed to pay at closing were ~$1,300.00 more than they should be. It was an issue when DVC sent the wrong estoppel and it was not caught until I asked my agent why the costs were so high. It can happen so always read everything!

I didn't experience anything that significant, but I was just informed that the closing costs on my SSR resale must have been over estimated, and I will be getting a Closing Reserve Refund.
I don't know for how much yet, but anything greater than zero is a bonus at this point!
