Hi All!
Sorry DH and I have been MIA from the boards for a bit (hanging my head in shame!). In short, we are moving from one end of the Scotland to the other after DH got a promotion. Don't get me wrong, it'll be great to be closer to our parents etc and he's closer to his ultimate job of his dreams but...
1. I have to find a new job (not easy as someone who is getting increasing more and more wheelchair bound - unsurprisingly it has a weird effect on employers!)
2. I've just ordered a new car (see above for wheelchair reasons why this is now necessary lol!)
3. I have to sell my house in the middle of the pending recession (boo hiss! Un-Disneylike word, I know!)
4. I have to find a new house (given the crappy rates in the mortgage market, I can see us bunking in with parents for a while or renting!)
5. We're going to DLP for Christmas and its totally the last thing on my mind - I know! Whats all that about? Shameful, shameful!
6. We also made the fatal mistake about a month ago (pre-job interview) to reserve our first WDW trip next September (AKL) to take advantage of the half price tickets and free Dining so now panicking that we won't be able to save the money and lose our deposit and trip (thankfully our DLP one is fully paid off so its safe!)
Must be mad.... No one else is getting it, even DH really, ... I'm gutted that I might not get on holiday and its like the biggest deal to me out of everything (wish I was there now and not thinking about any of this pesky stressy serious adult stuff lol)... Think I must have it bad
So tell me, am I going slowly mad? Will I make it to Christmas with my hair and sanity intact? All I'll say is 'Thank the Lord for the DIS'... its a very welcome if rare opportunity for distraction! Have I ever told you all just how GREAT you all are!
