Just booked our first Verandah room for 2025/26 season. But now I'm wondering if my booty will comfortably fit in the seat lol.


How wide are the seats on the verandah's on the wonder?

How wide are the seats on the verandah's on the wonder?

They're standard patio chair size. Not tiny, but also not supersized and they have arms. Here is an image from the Disney Cruise Line Blog website of an extended verandah. The chairs are the size and style of all of the verandah chairs on the Magic, Wonder, Dream and Fantasy (can't speak for Wish, as I haven't sailed on her yet).

Yes, I'd say that would likely be just fine.

They are the same or similar chairs that they use on the pool deck.

My fiancé doesn't fit in the theatre chairs but he fit the Verandah chairs, so you'll be fine!

Thank you for this. We have booked a couples cruise, we normally travel with the kids so don't bother with the balcony as we aren't in the room.

Then I just had this panic moment that maybe I had made a mistake as I wouldn't be able to use it.

I think the theatre seats are definitely not as wide as the verandah chairs!

They are also much easier to get out of!

Agree. I have not felt tight in deck chairs, but Dream class Walt Disney Theater seats were a bit narrow at one point in my life.

Depending on body shape, the arms on the deck chairs might hit a wider part of the legs and lower torso.

I could fit in the dream WD theater seats, and in the lake buena vista theater seats (for movies), but the darn BV seats have springs so you can recline back if you want to I suppose, and I didn't want to recline back but the chair insisted on doing so. hated it.

I could fit in the dream WD theater seats, and in the lake buena vista theater seats (for movies), but the darn BV seats have springs so you can recline back if you want to I suppose, and I didn't want to recline back but the chair insisted on doing so. hated it.
