They announced the line and showed off a few gowns on Oprah last Friday. The gowns are going to range in price from $600 to $1600 and be available in sizes from 0-30!!!!

Is anyone else kind of disappointed in the quality of these? I only saw one of them that I would say I really liked Maybe it was just the models, but I guess I expected more.

I am definitely dissappointed. I thought they would be a better quality because Vera's name is on them but some of them look like cheap knock-offs- and they aren't cheap!

They really are cheap compared to her normal prices. I really don't like them either; they look very plain, and not really like they are Vera Wang. I guess though for someone who really wants a Vera Wang dress that couldn't afford it before can afford it now, and I think that's what she was trying to accomplish, at the sacrifice of style.

It might just be the quality of the pics on the website, I would at least check them out. I have checked out some great designer's cheaper lines at Target, H&M, Payless and they are really hit or miss. It is nice that the Vera dresses have different colored sashes, I always loved the purple one Khloe Kardashian wore on her Vera...

I don't know if it's the photos or the dresses, but they seemed blah compared to her other stuff. Some even seemed like a nightgown. I know that she has to make some compromises with the cost cutting, but compared to many other David's gowns, these are very disappointing.
