i like VB bags. I have a large Duffel Bag and I love it. It is so light and comfortable. But i'm not sure about the purses. Are they old-lady-ish? Don't mean to offend just looking for an opinion.

I don't think they're old lady-ish. I think some of the prints are but I LOVE the purses in general. I'm a purse-a-holic and once I got a Vera Bradley I've never been interested in anything else. It's an addiction!

I went to the local store that sells Vera and didn't like the style, so I won't be ordering. It was very stiff and one of the things I like about the purses are that you can wash them so easily-- I really don't see how you could wash this bag! It's obviously got stuff in the fabric to make it stiff and I'm not sure how that would hold up in the wash??... It did fit on my shoulder but it took both hands, I couldn't just do it with one arm. Not a huge deal unless you're lugging around a 25lb weight.
I tried putting my cell phone in the end pockets (like I do with my Cargo Sling!) but it was so stiff that I had to shove it down there.. so even though it's a great deal I'm just not going to be ordering it.

I wish I'd had more time to pick out a favorite to watch for but my son is heavy and the store that sells that stuff is NOT stroller friendly so I had to carry him.


PP, I LOVE Raspberry Fizz. I have a wallet and small duffel in Raspberry Fizz and really, really, really want a purse in it.
The cupcakes pink is a pretty bright pink- my cousin, the one who got me hooked on Vera, has her diaper bag in cupcakes pink and it works for that but I think it's REALLY bright for anything else.
The oranges and stuff in Rapberry Fizz help to tone it down (and the pink isn't quite so bright to begin with)

Hmmm...now I'm concerned I won't like it. My mom ordered me one for my birthday and this will be my first. I also got a wallet to match. I guess we'll see!

I understand carrying around a moose! Luckily my youngest started walking so it gets easier b/9 my arms need a break!

It has two short handles that would sit on your shoulder and hang high up on your rib cage.

My mom prefers long straps and for $5 the local shoe shop turned her two short straps to one long diagonal strap so that it hangs closer to her hip.

I almost got a Libby a while back ago but it was too small for me. The strap is long though, and you can wear it cross-body.

I have a Libby. I love crossbody purses. It is small. I don't carry a wallet as I tend to use wristlets. I can fit a wristlet, my sunglass case, and my ipod or camera and keys. That's about all that fits and it's a tight fit. However that's about all I ever carry. It's a good vacation/shopping purse because I don't have to worry about setting it down and I only carry a minimum of stuff when I travel.

Depending on when you ordered it, you can change your order even though it says you can't. Call thier customer service and talk to a real person. I recently bought the wrong pattern and I called and caught it before it had been pulled and shipped. So I payed no penalty.

Hmmm probably not then. I carry a ton of stuff with me. Coupons, keys, VB pocket wallet, toys, cell phone, hand sanitizer (it FREAKS me out when people touch my kids hands because those go straight in his mouth), lotion, wet wipes.. the list goes on and on.

I was trying to compare the dimensions to the cargo sling which is too a bit too big for me but was unsuccessful. I have a hipster for travel so it looks like I'll pass on the Libby.

I think my next choice (to get Raspberry Fizz) is the Lisa B.

Thanks! After hearing about the size and comparing it to the Stephanie, I am going to stick with the Stephanie. Like PP, I tend to carry to much to fit in the Libby. Sometimes I throw a clean diaper in there if I don't want to carry a full diaper bag to run into a store.
