Vera Bradley Libby Help needed

Ok all you VB fans. DD11 wants this bag, she carries more stuff than most as she has her diabetic supplies food cell phone and such. Big Problem is I can't find a pic of it with a person so I can judge size. Do any of you have this bag and a picture of you holding it? Could you post it if you do and if you wouldn't mind include your height.


Also they are washable correct? And the strap works as crossbody? Are the little outside pockets velcro or what, are they big enough for a cell phone (Palm Centro). Is the main compartment open space?

Is it a durable bag? She carries a bag every second every where.

On the web site, they tell you the dimensions of each purse. DD has Libby, and it isn't very big. The outside pockets are nice, but the purse itself is on the smaller side. We have a few VB purses, and have been told by longtime fans that they last for years.

Thanks for the reply I got one for what I think is a great deal $23. I did find a picture with a person on QVC. I saw the measurement listed but I'm one of those people who likes the visual.

Vera Bradley does last years, I still have my original one I got over 4 years ago and it's in great shape.

You can wash them, just be sure to take the base out if the purse comes with one.

I have a Lindsay which is very similar to the Libby, but larger.

I would say the Libby is "regular" purse sized. The strap is adjustable. It can be used across the body or shortened to just go over your shoulder. The front pockets close with magnets.

My two sisters, my mom, and I all have Veras. My one sister is a big fan and has about 6 purses. I think she has a Libby (or one very similar), but she usually uses larger bags/totes on a daily basis. (We all have smaller items as well like the cell phone holders, wallets, etc.) They are washable (I haven't washed mine, but my mom and sister have.) They are pretty durable. My sister got her first one about 7 years ago and used it daily until recently (when we all started buying her Veras for birthday and Christmas gifts). The purse itself still looks good, but she wore out some spots in the strap where it rubbed on her shoulder.

Libby just arrived, perfect size for DD11. It has room for all her diabetic supplies and her girly stuff. Hopefully she will like it as much as she thought she would. She choose the Med Blue. Very light weight looks well made. Nice bag, ugly but nice.

Hey, watch what you say about Vera!

I think the purses are cute and very durable. Plus, if you only paid $23, that's a great deal. At a local boutique, it would have been double that!

Seriously the quality of the bags looks topnotch, I just don't like the colors. I'm more of a neutral kinda person. DD however loves pattern and color so like a good Mommy I bought the bag. Hopefully it will be a hit.
