Hi,

We're looking for a suitable wedding venue for just 4 guests, plus two tots either in WDW Resort or somewhere in Florida.

We like Cypress Grove, Winter Park Chapel & wondered whether anyone was married there with such a small group?

Also, love Disney's wedding pavilion and seabreeze pointe but too big I think??

Thanks for your help.

Tks x

First of all congratulations and welcome! I haven't looked in to non WDW venues but there are some lovely ceremony venues within WDW that are suited to smaller groups.

Many people still use the wedding pavilion as it's such a lovely location, but I'm with you on this one. With all the pews and only a few people it can look a bit empty in my opinion.

Seabreeze Point on the other hand I've seen photos of others DIS brides ceremonies with only a few people in attendance and I think it can look really lovely.

There's also the wedding gazebo at the Yacht Club, Sunrise Terrace at Wilderness Lodge and depending on the time of year Sunset Pointe at the Polynesian which are all particularly suited to smaller numbers.

I believe there is also a place at Polynesian for no more than 8 people. It's the location I'm thinking of, it's beautiful!

I had the same concern as you did about the size of the wedding pavilion and a small number of guests until I visited the pavilion a few weeks ago. Kudos to the architect and designer because I don't think it feels empty.

My fiance and I visited twice while we were in Orlando, once with just my sister and brother-in-law and then again with my parents, sister, brother-in-law and niece and nephew (my four year old niece exclaimed as soon as we walked in, "This is where I'm getting married!princess:) When there were only 4 of us and when there were the 8 of us, I think it was fine. We are looking at having between 18-23 guests at our Escape wedding next June. Search through some PJs for Escape weddings at the WP; there are lots of pics with differing numbers of guests; that might help you decide.

If you have a chance, go and visit it. I wasn't sold on the WP at all before our visit; SBP was my first choice. However, DF, who had been to a wedding at the WP before, kept telling me that he knew I'd change my mind once I saw it. We didn't even go to any other location. I knew I wanted to get married at the pavilion.

Congratulations and happy planning!

Sea Breeze Point or the Gazebo at the Yacht Club will not look weird with 6 people :thumbsup2

Someone should put up pics of some of these lesser known places. Like Becky (Spagerangerqueen) got married at the Croquet lawn at the boardwalk. Someplace I didn't even know existed, at it was beautiful.

I've seen a TR a long time ago from the terrace at WL. I'm gonna have to dig for some pics.

I second (or 3rd?) about the wedding pavillion. It is breath-takingly gorgeous and looks great with any number of guests. If I had seen it before we were all set on our cruise vr, I would have changed!!
