Venting about Blink....

Okay , is anyone else getting really sick of all those pop-ups ......and what about that one where the car comes racing in and a leg sticks out.............
I would just like to grab that leg and twist it it......opps, did I say that out loud......

It's getting to the point where I just expect them, and click them off when they show up (which is constantly). But the casino one where the car comes roaring up drives me crazy. Sounds like a car wreck.

I think this was posted not too long ago, but go to http://www.panicware.com and get their freeware package called Pop-Up Stopper. When installed and enabled it will stop pop-up browser windows from appearing on your screen. Of course, sometimes you need to disable it (e.g. if a link wanted to open in a new window) but it really does make life saner when you're surfing.

What I hate is the same pop comes up over and over, if its not the one you said its the one with the fat guy and the cigar in his mouth in the top hat and tuxedo playing cards......

Yes, those popups are getting to be like phone solicitors....that car one is annoying though....one day when it first started showing up, I had my sound up kinda loud and that car thing came on when I was in the bathroom, it scared me to death cuz I had no idea what it was and it kept playing over and over again until I got back to click it off. Now I click all of them off as soon as they come up and I would NEVER buy from any of these companies JUST because their popups annoy me so much.......
