Vent!

Ugh i am sooo incredibly angry. Last year i joined this interact club at my school and at first it was fine, but after a year (joined freshman year now a sophomore) i just have grown to hate it. I dread going to meetings and i have zero friends in that club.. i recently joined girl scouts again and asked my mom if i could quit interact and my parents refuse to let me quit. i have given it a try over and over and over and over and over again and the meetings don't get any better. Like tonight i had an incredible amount of homework...and my parents made me go to the meeting and i wasted my time and still have an overload of homework!!!!!!!!

why don't you try to make a deal with your parents that if you quit interact, you'll join a different club? do you think they would like that more? it seems like they want you to be involved in something, but try explaining that interact just isn't what you want to do.

well did your parents spend alot of money on this club? if so i understand why they dont want to let you quit .

but if not , just tell your parents why you want to quit & be civil about it . dont complain & act whiney .
