VENT: People who say "Look" too much

What the heck is this new "fad" of people starting a sentence with "Look,"?
It is so distracting!! I mean, oK, go ahead and say it once if you have to, but really once should be your max in any one conversation, otherwise I'm thinking "Look what?" "Why are you still saying LOOK?" "Geeze, shut up." I'm actually not even listening to your other words anymore, but rather just wondering what's wrong with you and what you are trying to prove.
Look, the vent is over.

(PS: If you own some silly book about how to climb the ladder and it tells you to do this, BURN IT.)
