Vent - I'm so tired of this!

Most of you know I was diagnosed with bone cancer Summer 07, and I was announced in remission since March 2008.

Basketball great Wayman Tisdale died today of Osteosarcoma. I had Osteosarcoma.
Yesterday, it was released that a Boston College football player had been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, which is the "cousin" to Osteosarcoma because of their similarities.
I also found out about two more cases of Ewing's Sarcoma thru two DISers here, who I shall not mention.

Ugh, oh my god. I'm tired of hearing about everybody sick with cancer - I wish there was just a cure!
As if that's not enough, today is J's memorial service. J was a friend/classmate of mine that passed away last month of brain cancer.

the good news is cancer is no longer a death sentence


my grandfather got diagnosed in 2001 and it was pretty much a death sentence then (just 8 years ago) Today when people hear cancer its still scary but its not a death sentence anymore, we've come a long way in 8 years

This is such a horrible disease. I am with you that my hope is very soon they will come up with a cure for all Cancer. I also want to congratulate you for being a survivor and being in re-mission.
