Vent-got dd ears pierced and they are crooked

It is still annoying me today but really I am trying to let it go.I just hope that it doesn't bother her later if she has problems wearing certain earings and wished I had them redone.Mine are actually the same as hers and there were times when I wore hanging earings that the one side would not lay right. They look uneven when you look straight at her-the right side is closer to her face than the left side. The left is too far over towards the edge of her ear.I had second holes in the ear that was closer to my face and the other side looks more like it matches the second hole instead of the first.Oh well I guess-she is still happy with them and said she is not taking them out.She looks cute anyway!!!

My daughter's have been crroked since she had them done over 2 years ago. I mentioned it to her when she first had them done and told her that she would have to let it close and then have them done again. She said no way. She is 8 and it doesn't bother her. I am sure that it will when she gets older, but thats up to her to have them done again if she wants it.

OT a bit... I got one of those piercings at the top of the ear. OMG!! That hurt so MUCH! And, I got it on the side I slept on without thinking... and I coudlnt even lay on it. Stick to the lobes, crooked and all... ;)

I'm guess I'm not as cool as I had hoped. :dance3:

Close enough that my 2 earrings are nearly touching and they are 1/8 of an inch wide each. I would guess they are approximately 1/4 of an inch apart when I take my earrings out.

I don't have small earlobes though :rotfl2: I have plenty of room behind the second hole. :confused3

My first holes were done standing on a chair in my kitchen. It's videotaped and everything :rotfl2: My dad was friendly with a jeweler at the time and they had him come over and surprise me as a birthday present. :thumbsup2

Oh my--that is close. yeah-that would drive me nuts.

My earring holes are crooked. I got them done when I was a child (6 or 7). Nobody but me ever noticed. When I was older, maybe 15 I got them double pierced and when she did it , she did it crooked so that when I had 2 earrings in each ear the original crooked one would not be noticable.
I think your dd is old enough to make her own decision about whether she wants to close one up and have it re-pierced or if she dosn't mind them being crooked.
My dd has had one ear re-pierced 3 times , not due to it being crooked, she had to remove her earrings for sports and one hole always closed up fast. Each time she had them redone it was a traumatic experience since she knew what it was going to be like. The anticipation made her nearly hyperventilate. It was always her choice, I would have never forced her to go through with it if she truly didn't want to. Although I told her that I will not take her back to get it done if it happens again she will have to wait until shes older.
