Not that it helps your disappointment but....many, many French restaurants are dark on Mondays. It's traditional.

Yep, it is the standard day for restaurants and museums to be closed throughout Europe. The 3 best places in our little town are all closed tonight (and EVERY Monday--holiday or not).

Wow! Just checked out the website.. thank you so much! I think that may be our Valentine's breakfast tomorrow!!!!

I hope you like it as much as I did. The little store 2 doors down (Side Dish?) is owned by the same man and has some pretty cool items. I found a couple reasonable gift items. That part of town is full of great restaurants and shops, love it!

Do Groupons expire quickly? Cant you use it for next week or next month?

Depending on the individual deal they can expire any date the business selects. The ones I've seen, it is usually between 6 - 12 months.

Forbes Magazine recently listed Groupon as one of the most successful growing businesses and business ideas. Businesses that might not be able to offer a deal if too few people partake, and money goes out the door instead because they offered discounts, are able to offer deals when they know the numbers are confirmed to be there. And people find out about a local business even if they do not get in on the deal when they read the once a day emails for the deals.

I've gotten about 6 Groupons so far. I missed out on one for the salon that cut Emma Watson's new short hairdo. Gotten a couple for restaurants, one for a craft store, and two for courses I've been wanting to take.


If people also do Swagbucks, they usually list the Groupon links under Special Offers, so you can earn extra points by going though the link to buy your Groupon.
