Here is something I have not seen in any guide book, hosted at the wonderful Velvet Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel, is the VelvetSessions, a rock and roll cocktail party.

We were at the hotel for Velvet sessions in September.

'The Knack' (My Sharona) were playing in the lobby.

Apparantly it has become a very popular attraction for the locals. The hotel got VERY busy that night - no spaces in self park and a 20 minute queue for valet.

We got a complimentary invite when we stayed at HRH in Aug 2002 - was a fun nite! DH wobbled a bit on the way back to our room!!!!!!!!

I thought the velvet sessions were on a Friday not a Thursday. I was lucky to see John Cafferty just before Easter this year. The HRH really rocked that night.
