DH says no to getting an IPad because they are way too expensive, even though that is what I really want. Does anyone know anything about how well the velocity micro cruz reader works? I am debating between that and the Kindle. Ideally, I would like to surf the internet with it and would also like to be able to keep track of my pins (and my wants and trades) with it, plus be able to read books on it. Every time we go somewhere on vacation or away for the weekend, DH groans and comments about all the books I take, (6-10) 
. I know the velocity micro cruz reader is in color which is a plus but don't know how easy it is to read with and how well it surfs the internet. It is significantly more expensive than the Kindle wifi but close in price to the Kindle 3G. Also, are those online auctions like swipe, swoopo, bigDeal, BigRodeo, etc good places to purchase these items or are they a rip off?
