Veggie Burger/Rosie's

Have you had the veggie burger at Rosie's All American Cafe at MGM?If you have could you tell me if you liked it?Have a good friend going down soon and does not eat any meat but likes veggie burgers.I would like to be able to tell him where at WDW he can get a good one.Maybe where he might want to skip getting one.

I am a vegetarian and found all the veggie burgers at WDW pretty good. As a matter of fact, the ones at Rosie's are my favorite. I haven't had meat in 15 years, but if memory serves these taste like A&W or White Castle burgers. The bun is steamed and they are served in one of those foil wrappers. Also Cosmic Ray's has decent veggie burgers and a nice fixin's bar. He should also try the vegetarian chili in the bread bowl at Columbia Harbor House, very good & filling. Deb's site has a great guide for vegetarians.

I had the veggie burger at Rosie & it is pretty good.
I have no complaints about it.
WDW is pretty vegetarian friendly

Make sure come to BOMA Serstaurant at Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner....very wild on vegetarian item ....and make sure ask for chef TJ and Chef Kent at dinner time.......you will not dissapointed.

I just wanted to add my 2-cents.

I agree totally with treehugger. Rosie's are fine, but I like Cosmic Ray's even better because of the toppings bar. They have shredded lettuce, sauteed mushrooms, barbecue sauce, raw and cooked onions and more. We love eating there.

Vegetarians will certainly not go hungry in WDW. Lots of great options from casual places like Cosmic Ray's to fancy sit-downs like California Grille to buffets like Boma.
