Vegetarian Thanksgiving - Ohana or Hllwd/Vine

For Thanksgiving which restaurant would be better? I am a vegetarian. My son is not. We are deciding between Ohana and Hollywood and Vine. They serve all the traditional Thanksgiving foods at both restaurants, so my son will be fine with either one. Hollywood and Vine has their regular buffet in addition to the Thanksgiving foods. Ohana does not serve their regular menu that night. They only serve the Thanksgiving meal. I'm wondering if the chefs there would be able to put together a vegetarian meal, as they do on other nights. If any vegetarians have eaten there on Thanksgiving, please respond.

If you're able to get an ADR for Thanksgiving for either restaurant, more power to you.

I think if you give them advance notice when making the ADR that there's a vegetarian in your party, they will be able to accommodate you. From what I've heard from my friends who just went to 'Ohana with a vegan, the special dinner for her was incredible. I'd say go for that.

My mother is vegetarian, we went to Ohana two weeks ago. The Chef made an incredible dinner that had people at other tables jealous. It had Tofu/Rice on the bottom in a wonderful sauce with Broccolini and Asparagus that was served kind of tempura style. It had those dry noodles on the top. Looking for the picture now. Though it does not do it justice. I eat meat and ended up eating part for hers as well because there was no way she could finish!

I've heard that the chefs at Ohana are great at accommodating vegetarians. My one concern is that since it will be Thanksgiving, and they won't have their regular menu available that night, they may not have the ingredients readily available to prepare a vegetarian entree. For one example, they won't be cooking any other dish that night with noodles. I'm wondering if they would be able to do one of those vegetarian type meals on a night when it is a set traditional Thanksgiving menu.
