Vegetarian Resturants

My best friend is planning a trip to WDW for next year. She is a lacto-ovo vegetarian. Also no fish and she does like vegan as well.

Any suggestions as to were she can get a good vegetarian meals and so that her husband can still get a good w/ meat meal? LOL

I also thought I heard someone say something about Ohana having vegetarian meals? Is that correct? Is this something that my friend is going to need to put on her dining reservations when is asks if you have any dietary needs?

We eat lacto-ovo and fish and have almost always found adequate choices at table service restaurants. Of course, it wouldn't hurt for your friend to note her restrictions, but it is not essential.

Our favorite restaurant is Boma, which has numerous options for meat eaters and vegetarians. We also really enjoyed Sanaa and Jiko. Your friend and her husband should find a site with restaurant menus and see what appeals to them both.

Sanaa is now one of my favorite meals and the vegetable "Stew" at the wave was so good I could have licked the plate clean. The adult Mac n cheese at Chefs de France was tasty.

I have only ever had an issue at Le Cellier due to a mushroom allergy. I have twice been stuck with a large salad even though I had called ahead. It was food but not very filling all other Disney meals have been top notch!

Boma and Tusker House are both supposed to be really good for vegetarians, I have ADRs at both for my next trip, as well as Sanaa and Jiko. Any buffet she'd probably have a lot of choices at, Crystal Palace has a nice salad area, and some terrific pasta dishes. Also, Kouzzina at the Boardwalk has a nice selection of appetizers.
