Hi,

After checking Deb's menus on her site, I don't see anything meatless at San Angel Inn...rare in a Mexican restaurant. Is this really the case? I'd love to make an ADR there, but not if there are no options. TIA! :thumbsup2

From what I hear, San Angel has a special vegetarian menu with several options that you can request. Even if for some reason this was a rumor, I'm sure you could make special requests since mexican food is so easy to vegi-tize. Have a good time!

we eat there 3 weeks ago. I am a vegetarian, all you have to do is ask the waiter and they`ll bring you a specail menu. It only had 2 or 3 entrees on it, I got the combination plate (the waiter recommended it). It was a enchillada in rancheras sauce, quesadilla with a green salsa and mexican rice. It was very tasty, as for a starter they had a veggie friendly salad. Though if you don`t see anything you like, I am sure you could order off the main menu and leave out the meat.

We always get the combination platter -- in fact, we just had it a couple weeks ago. It was really good as usual!

We ate there last month and were also given 3 vegetarian options when we asked our server - two different combo plates and some type of dinner salad. (It was for my DP, so I wasn't really paying attention.) She got one of the combo plates, I think the same one as jagruti6, and she said it was very good.

Does anyone know if there is a vegetarian menu at the resturaunt in Morroco? Sorry I can never remember how to spell it lol.
