Hi. We are just back. We have a vegetarian family of 3

Day 1 - breakfast at the Mara at AKL - typical breakfast stuff, but my husband ordered the flatbread special without sausage and said it was excellent. Had to wait a bit longer for it, but he found it worth it to have it freshly prepared vegetarian - Grade B

Lunch at Mama Melrose with Fantasmic passes - I had the Pappardelle Pasta and my husband had the margherita flatbread. my daughter had spaghetti, hold the meatballs. It was a decent lunch. the pasta was very good. I had the vegetarian minestrone as well. I'd give it a B overall. Overpriced though for the dinner package. I would probably skip this next time as it wasn't exceptional Italian.

Day 2 - Lunch at BOG - it was worth the experience once, but too much of a hassle to do again. My husband got the quinoa salad which didn't have much flavor and the quiche was so-so. My Daughter ordered the grilled cheese which she said was cold and didn't taste good. On the positive side, the soups were both vegetarian and tasty. It was a bit of a chilly day, so they hit the spot. - Grade C+

Dinner - husband and friend's husband and son ate at T-Rex. He got a veggie burger that he said was extremely average - grade C-. they weren't too impressed the atmosphere either.

I went with a friend and our two daughter to Akershus for princess dinner. Was pleasantly surprised. The taste of Norway is a buffet, so could easily skip the meat and get enough in salad and cheese to satisfy me. The Butternut squash ravioli was the only thing vegetarian on the menu, but it was delicious. Had a rich sauce and carmelized onions. Daughter, however, had mac and cheese and gave it a thumbs down. She found it to be cold. Will give it a B+ overall.

Day 3 - Breakfast at Boma - very good. Lots of variety. Was just a little disappointed that there weren't more African offerings. A bit too conventional for me. - Grade A-

lunch at Sanaa - husband and I each ordered 2 things from the vegetarian sampler and shared. Also got the bread service. Didn't order a kids menu. She shared with us and enjoyed the bread service and even tried an Indian dish that she liked. Had nice view of animals during the meal. Ate at an odd time - 2:45 and had the restaurant almost entirely to ourselves. Only complaint is that I would've like more food with the meal - Grade A-

Day 4 - lunch at Les Halles in France pavilion - This was a great meal for quick service. I had the brie and apple sandwich toasted and my husband and daughter both had a tartine. it was excellent. My daughter skipped the blob of goat cheese in the middle, but otherwise enjoyed and we got dessert too. Warning - no such thing as a kids meal here. - Grade A

Dinner - Sunshine Seasons - again, pleasantly surprised by quick service. my husband got the vegan beef tips and I tried them and they were tasty. I got the goat cheese and beet salad. Daughter got the macaroni and cheese and gave this one a thumbs up. - Grade A-

Day 5 - Breakfast at Park Fare 1900 - Very good breakfast buffet. Left feeling stuffed even after avoiding meat items. Banana Foster and strawberry soup were highlights. Characters were fun too. - Grade A-

Dinner in hollywood studies at some sort of quick pizza place - didn't stand out. But filled us up when hungry - Grade C

Day 6 - lunch at Mr. Kamal's (sp?) in AK - I got the noodle salad which was OK and my husband got the falafel sandwich. Hummus for my daughter. Sandwich was better than the noodle salad. Hard to find somewhere to sit, but nice to have a stand that is all vegetarian - Grade B

Dinner at Boma - excellent as usual, just disappointed that the peanut rice wasn't on the menu that night. My daughter had trouble finding things to eat here, however. - Grade A-

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for sharing! I love that it sounds like Disney has many vegetarian soups to offer.

Boma was one of my favorites at Disney as a vegetarian, it felt like there were so many options for me. I would really like to try Sanaa next time!

Thanks for posting. Last time we ate at Sunshine Seasons, I don't think they had vegan "beef" tips. Will have to try that during our next trip. We did enjoy the vegetarian options at Sunshine Seasons quite a bit, though. (I can't remember what they were, but with so much on the menu, it seems like there is always something for a vegetarian.)

Thanks for posting. Two vegetarians in the family and on our way back. Last time I found Tusker House's buffet in Animal Kingdom to be one our best vegetarian experiences. There were a lot of salad, bean, and assorted side dishes to choose from.
