My son does not eat meat or fish. I was looking through the menus on Allears, and it seems that except for Cantina San Angel there are no vegetarian kids options in Epcot. He can't eat the chips there since he has a reaction to food dye. Am I missing something?

Both Sunshine Season and Tangerine cafe have what we consider great vegetarian options, but they aren't kids meals. I can't remember if Tangerine Cafe even has a kids meal, but you might want to check the menus at both and determine if there is something he can eat. My vegetarian daughter had a black bean soup at Sunshine Seasons that she LOVED. But I've never seen it on any of the online menus.

ETA) Just checked for you. It appears from the menu at allears that Tangerine cafe has two kids options. Hamburger or Chicken Nuggets. Not going to work. Are you on the DDP? If not I would just split an adult meal. My son doesn't eat very much, and I find the kids meals that he needs to choose from on the DDP really limiting.

Since we're on the dining plan, he'll have to order from the kid's menu. I think we'll have to share meals at the Tangerine Cafe, because he loves hummus and tabouli and falafel, so maybe I can order that and eat the kids meal (which is hamburger or chicken tenders- I'm not a vegetarian). Thanks.

I wish they offered healthier children's choices in general. It seems like for the most part they are hamburgers, chicken tenders, pizza, macaroni and cheese and such. If they offered kid's salads and such, my son would eat those instead.
