Hi there! I am a vegetarian and have always loved going to Ohana. I've been able to eat the bread, salad, veggies, noodles, and dessert. Since it is all you can eat, you will not leave feeling hungry. That being said, if you tell them you are a vegetarian when you arrive they will bring out a dish that is white rice with stir fried tofu and vegetables. Here's a photo from March:
HOWEVER, on my most recent trip, I went down Memorial Weekend with a first-timer who was sent to Disney as a graduation present from her mom. Since I am Disney-crazy, she brought me along to help her get the most of her time there. I booked us at Ohana because I love the atmosphere and I know that seeing Wishes from the restaurant would be really cool for someone who has never even been there. I am usually the only vegetarian in the group when I travel, but this time it was just two of us and we were both vegetarian.
My friend eats shrimp and fish but I do not. As soon as we told our server to please bring out the meatless option, she brought out Chef TJ who asked us some questions about what we ate. He then told us what was "safe" for us to eat (bread, salad, veggies, noodles, and dessert. Plus the shrimp for my friend). After that, we hardly saw our server because Chef TJ would come to our table and explain everything he brought out for us. In addition to the regular dishes that were veggie-friendly, we were given pita chips with three different kinds of hummus, some kind of broccoli and asparagus appetizer with a yummy sauce, and an amazing creation of rice, tofu, veggies, etc. that looked amazing and tasted just as good! He also brought out, in addition to the regular TO DIE FOR dessert, chocolate covered bananas!
He really went above and beyond for us and came over a few minutes after delivering the food to ask us how we liked everything. I had never had him do this before but perhaps it was because the entire dining party did not eat meat. He mentioned how many people see all you can eat meat on the menu and get scared away, but that there is a lot that they can do for people with different diets.
The Plaza in MK also has a yummy vegetarian sandwich and Raglan Road is also worth a stop. Hope this helps!
