Since deciding between Feb and March, is there much of a difference weather wise between those times? I know it won't be summer but will it be much colder that time of year? Maybe we should just do April? Or is March slightly better? One other question, if you found a good flight now ($200 pp) would you book that now or wait? Thanks

Here the seasons seem to change overnight, Feb can be alot colder then March. what do you wabt to do while you are here? Some folks never leave the casino and the weather is not a factor at all, if you plan on hiking thats totally different . Give me a clue on plans and I will try to help!

I geuss we will be leaving the casino alot since we are not gamblers. So we are looking for anything non gambling on the strip w/a 10 year old. :rotfl: I know it's a lot. But we do plan on visiting areas such as Adventuredome, Gameworks, Fountains @ Bellagio, White Tigers,Eifel Tower, Stratosphere, M&M's, Grand Canal, Madame Tousades...to name a few. And of course, the Grand Canyon. It's just hard to plan because I'm not sure how much time we will need as well as deciding on restaurants. So, good thing we are not doing this til next year. That's why I've been bugging this board with a lot of questions. Just trying to think of everything. Weather and all. Thanks. :wizard:

Feb. is definetly colder then March here in Vegas. Jan/Feb are always the coldest months here in Vegas. I would say the weather is really nice in March/April if your coming for the nicest weather. $200 sounds like a good fair, where are you flying out of?

My DH and I were in Las Vegas in early March this year and we thought the weather was perfect. Low 70's during the day. Pools weren't open yet, but we didn't care about that anyway. We've also been in mid-February. Definitely cooler, but still very nice. Especially since we are coming from Michigan. The weather in Las Vegas feels fabulous compared to the Midwest in winter.

We would be flying out of either Syracuse NY, Albany NY or Rochester NY (I think the rochester was the one that gave me the $200 price). Do you have any approximate temperature's, you know some #'s. 50's 60's 70's...Being from the north we may enjoy the 50's especially if it is 0's here. Thanks :cool1:

The lovely thing about Vegas is almost everything is in doors. It can be 115 outside and you are shivering in side form the airconditioning. That is a great airfare I just looked for my BIL in NY to come here a month ago and it was double that! Check out lasvegaskids.com for some kids friendly ideas including hotels. Happy planning :goodvibes
