Now we've researched and researched this, and we're having a hard time. 12 months now we've been Vegan, and are planning our first Disneyland Paris trip since then. We have just returned from Disneyland in Anaheim and found it an absolute breeze, but Paris looks a little more tricky.

France is notorious for being Vegan/Vegetarian 'unfriendly', and this seems to show at the resort. Has anyone had experience? Am I going to be living on Fries!.

they are not v good when it comes to allergies, so i doubt they wld b gr8 at vegan either. tho may be easier if u dont have to avoid things that have been in contact with or may contain.

My wife is vegetarian so you would have to check if it's also vegan for yous but the food we have had there before is

For Main Meals

The Veggie Burgers in the Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood and Annette's which are all different but equally nice.

Pizza in Cafe Mickey

Buffets at the Cheyenne and Buffalo Bills

My wife found these were all nice and so is something you could look into more. I have them listed somewhere as to what they had in them so will try to find that for you and post later.

Actually finding food in the parks is more difficult. Here fries may definitely be a possibility only.

In Disneyland there is

Pizza and pasta at pizzeria Bella notte and colonel haithi's Outpost

Salad at the Hakuna Matata

Salad in a Taco at Fuente de Oro

In the village there is

Earl of sandwich which does vegetable wraps, baguettes. salad, pizza and pasta

New York sandwich company does a mozzarella and tomato panini

In universal there is

Blockbuster cafe which does pizza

This is not a definative list but where we have eaten recently.

Hope it can get you started into finding something for yous

We don't consume milk, cheese or any product derived from an animal, we think the burger at Annette's will be ok as they have what is basically a plant sandwich. I really think we're going to struggle in the parks.

I think the Agarabah Café is the best restaurant for vegans as they do middle eastern and north African foods and it is a large buffet. The problem is you have to pay before you can see exactly whats in the buffet on that day. But you can look at the reviews on here where there are a lot of photos albeit not necessarily up to date.

Earl of sandwich will make things up to order.

I never went to DLP when I was vegan but for other restaurants in europe I used to have a lot of salad and chips and I would carry my own mayo, non dairy spread etc.

I've read about agrabah cafe. I hear it's a pricey affair!!!

I wonder if the restaurants in the village use dry or fresh pasta? Dry pasta tends not to have egg in it!?

I really doubt they would use fresh pasta for such large quantities. And if they did it would say so on the menu as its seen as more expensive/better.

Not counting the fast food options, Agrabah is actually one of the cheaper and better value sit down restaurants.

Ok I have just come back from our trip and here's what I found, in the parks:

In the DLP

Fuente del Oro in adventureland does a taco salad and nachos and also rice. Its on their specialities board menu all separate.

Last chance cafe does a mixed salad

Hakuna Matata does a salad with sweet corn, peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes and carrots. Also does rice

Cafe Hyperion does a salad as well which was nice

Lots of side eateries do grilled vegetable sandwiches.

In the studios

Cafe des Cascadeurs, first building in the park. Does a grilled vegetable sandwich as does the blockbuster cafe.

In the village

Billy bobs do jackets potatoes

Annette's does a veggies burger of tofu, aubergine, courgette, garlic pickle and other bits.

We went to The billy bob - la grange buffet. They had an area where you could make up your own tortilla wraps with mixed veg, guacamole, salsa. Also had nachos and potatoes. They also had a salad bar area which my wife found very nice.

However most of it would not be for you so you would be paying a lot for a buffet which you could only eat a small portion of.

Have you perhaps considered staying at the Disney Davy Crockett ranch? Yes it's a short drive away so you would need a car, but you would have your own kitchen to prepare food in.

All I could find for you I'm afraid where I looked

I agree, just a shame you won't be able to tell whats on offer until you get in, and knowing if items do or don't have milk/egg in is going to be tricky. or do they show the allergen information?

wow this is amazing. How have I not seen this. This is great, again not the most exciting but it beats fries anyday!
