VEA shuttle

Hi Everyone

Been to WDW before but this is 1st trip to DLP & 1st time on this board.

Question about VEA shuttle. Will be landing in CdG airport. Had a look at the VEA site & they run every 20 mins in peak times (we're going 1st week of school hols.) What I'm wondering is what the wait will be like at the bus stop!! Is there only 1 bus for all the planes that land? Will I have to watch 1/2 buses fill up & have to wait an hour to get one? Do people queue fairly for the shuttle (been reading about 'queues' or lack of them for rides)

Welcome to the DLP board Ocky

AFAIK they don't leave people waiting for the next scheduled bus, but will put on extra buses if the demand is high. But I'm afraid I can't be certain of this - hopefully somebody else will be able to help.

Like you I've heard the stories about queue pushers, but I've personally never experienced it either in the park or waiting for the VEA Maybe I'm very lucky

If a bus is full they do put extra buses on.

In November we were waiting for the bus back to the airport and when it came it was full and there were quite a lot of us waiting.

A van with what can best be described as an inspector (like blakey from on the buses ) in it arrived almost immediately and he used his mobile and radio to arrange another bus which arrived very quickly so they must already have been on top of the situation.

Word of warning, don't expect smiley happy bus drivers and don't expect them to help you put your luggage on the bus either.

Only queue jumpers i have encountered are for character greetings which are a free for all, unlike WDW where you wait in line to meet Mickey and get your photo taken. There are a couple of areas where this is organised, but generally character greetings a re a scrum and you end up with a lot of random strangers on your photos as well as your kids.
