VEA Coach or TGV from CDG?

I know there is a thread about this on "Useful Info", but can anyone post their experience of both of these?

We fly into Terminal 1 CDG and there will be me, my OH and 4 year old. We will only have 1 suitcase with us plus hand luggage. I am thinking of taking the VEA coach as it seems the easiest option, but the train is obviously much faster.

How easy it is to get the train - buying tickets, finding the right platform and train etc?

We fly into terminal 1 CDG too.

The train is faster, but its not as frequent as the VEA. Its not difficult to get around the airport, now there is the free internal shuttle train (the CDGval).

I usually, for ease, get the VEA from the airport, and then take the TGV back from DLRP to the airport at the end of my holiday. I think the last time I was planning my journey, I wouldn't have got to my hotel from the airport any quicker on the TGV, as I was going to have to wait about an hour for a train. Whereas I have only waited a maximum of 10 minutes for a VEA from Terminal 1.

As there are 3 of you going, you might want to consider a private car transfer with rs tranports - it costs 55 euro, so only 10 euro more than the VEA, its very quick, and an excellent service, in my opinion.

Regarding the vea transort- it says online to tae the return journey from the disney hotel to CDG airport 2h30minutes before check-in time. Check in time is 2 hours before the flight time - -do they mean we should take the vea shuttle to cdg 2h30 before our flight time?

Does anyone know (approximately) how ong it normally takes the VEA to get from hotel cheyenne to CDG? We are returning on a wednesday (the 9th of april) an as it is easter the roads may be busier?

It takes anything from 45 minutes to 1 hour for the journey between the Cheyenne hotel and your terminal at CDG.
