VEA Bus - What time should we leave?

Hi,

Just a few weeks to go now. Because we are flying into Terminal 1, I have decided to go with the VEA bus (more direct), otherwise we will have to be travelling around CDG to get to the train.

3 questions:

1. Is Terminal 1 the second stop on the VEA run when going to Disney?
2. Our flight is at 2pm when going home, what time should we leave Newport Bay?
3. Is there a seperate shuttle for departing Disney? The reason I ask is because when we got VEA last time (from terminal 2), we dropped off at Newport, but I don't remember anyone getting back on to return to CDG.

Thanks.

To say I'm excited is an understatement, just hope Aer Lingus don't go on strike. Still haven't told anyone else we are going, they will be so surprised, am waiting til the morning we are going. AAAAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhh!!!

Hi,

Every time I've got the VEA from terminal 1, its been the first stop (ie we've been the first people on the bus).
If your flight is 2pm, you'll want to be at CDG by 12noon, so the VEA at 11am or thereabouts will suit you.
Every time I've used the VEA to return to CDG, we've picked up at the other onsite hotels.

Fingers crossed your journey goes as planned :)

Thank you for that.

I think we will go ahead with the VEA for arrival, but might book a private transfer for going back.

We want to get as much in on the last day and don't want to worry about buses being full, etc. for the return journey.

Now I just have to figure that one out.....

If there is a TGV train leaving DLRP around 11.45, that would also suit you. Thats an easy journey (10 minutes on the train, then a maximum of 20 minutes between terminals at CDG) if you don't have a lot of luggage or pushchairs etc.

When I go with my DD, we prefer to take the TGV back to CDG, and we fly out of terminal 1.

We took the TGV back too the last time (and there was 13 of us), we managed perfectly, with all our bags, but we were flying out of Terminal 2, which helped. Just not sure about the transfering between T2 & T1.

Have looked at train times and there are quite a few between 11.30 & 12.30. I know they recommend 2hours before flight departure, but what would be the latest you think we could leave it??

For the TGV, I wouldn't leave it any later than 11.45ish.

I get the 5.30pm TGV back to CDG, for a 7.35pm flight time. I'm at my check-in desk at terminal 1 by 6pm, then theres really only time to head through security and passport control and then the departure gates.
