VCR or DVD at VWL now?

I did a search, but the most recent info I found was from last August and things can change. Has anyone been recently who can confirm whether VWL currently has VCRs or DVD players? I hate to bring DS's fave pooh video and not have a VCR on which to play it. Thanks in advance!

i haven't been since january but we had a 1br at VWL and it was a vcr. i was really disappointed since i brought dvd's (no matter, we just played them on the laptop for the kids).

Thank you! We'll have the portable DVD player for the plane, but now I know we'll have a VCR too, I'll bring a couple of those too.

I don't know about VWL, but at OKW and BWV you can "rent" video's for free so you don't have to pack your own.

I actually checked on this with the Lobby Concierge at VWL on Friday. I was told that they are in the process of converting from VCR to DVD. Essentially as the VCRs are dying, they're being replaced with DVD players. So some rooms may have a VCR, others may have a DVD player.

FYI for anyone going soon. On our trip last week both rooms we had featured DVD players. Hope that helps someone!
