My boyfriend and I plan to spend one day pre-Disney cruise and four days post-Disney cruise at VBR. We will most likely fly into Melbourne International Airport for the flights are cheaper and the airport is closer to Port Canaveral and Vero Beach. The logistics for this trip is a bit of a nightmare. Has anyway here planned a similar trip? Is renting a car for the entire trip essential? Would it be cheaper to use the shuttle service offered my the airport rather than rent a car for a week and a half?

Have you looked into Limo or car Service?
Also on the money you are saving on flying into an alternate airport are you having to spend that amount on transportation to the port??? Is there a true savings?
