This was our first trip home and I didn't know what to expect. WOW
We arrived on Sunday to rain in West Palm Beach, the drive to VB was a straight shot down 95 and took about 1hr 45 min which was fine. There were Publix stores close to the resort which was great.
Arrived at the Resort around 4pm and checked right in. We had an Ocean View Inn room and it was just that. Faced the ocean right out the front next to the Green Cabin Room. It was just beautiful.
The room was clean and in good condition.
Even though we had 2 days that were overcast we still all went to the ocean and the pool. The beach is great and clean and the water was warm (not like the pool but warm) There are plenty of activities for kids and some for teens. My 16yr old spent most of his time in the ocean with a boogie board.
My elderly father loved the ocean and my Mom spent a lot of time in the pool. Last 2 days of our stay were sunny and very hot. (Bring lots of sunscreen) If you want a wonderful place to relax, Vero is it. We ate at Sonya's which was very good and breakfast every morning at Shutters. Food is expensive all around. We ate at Capt Hiram's (Very good) A small bar called Ozzie's Crab Shack and they had great garlic blue crab, and Ocean Grille (GREAT)
I would go back to VB in a heartbeat
