VB - OVIR vs 1BR?

Might be a silly question, but thought I'd ask for feedback just in case.

We're (me, dw, dd12) planning on a.couple nights at VB in June following 5or 6 nights at WDW. We've done this a couple times before, staying in a 1BR, and enjoyed some calm after the hectic of WDW. I know the 1BR has more space, full kitchen (that we don't really use), etc. But I read people talking so favorably about the OVIRs that I wonder if we should try those instead.

We normally stay in a 1BR because we're spoiled and have enlightened points. But we have stayed in a studio a.few times.

So, what do you think?

We love the ocean view, so if we're not in a Beach Cottage, I get ocean view inn rooms for guests.

There are 2 queen beds & a kitchenette in the room. There are some differently arranged rooms that have a king bed, but we've never gotten one. You give up the nicer bathroom if you go with the OVIR.

Good luck deciding. I suppose it depends on how much time you would spend out looking at the ocean. I do that a lot!! We've only gotten a 2 bedroom once, and it had a view of vegetation only. It was a disappointment to us. The OVIRs have never disappointed us, even for 4-5 days with the smaller space.

We tend to spend more time in our room (relaxing, if it is raining, etc.) at Vero than at WDW and we are spoiled and prefer one bedroom units over the OVIRs even though we have done them quite a few times. Also we usually split time at WDW with Vero, after eating out at WDW we often do some simple meals in our room. But I would do a OVIR over a studio there. Just my two cents.

When we used the kitchen, we booked the larger room. Once we did not. Ate on-site/off-site and only needed the OVIR and it was over Thanksgiving. A little more cramped than what we are used to, but it was just as nice. I guess I got spoiled with the kitchens and larger rooms that it was hard for me to not have one.
