VB, HH, or WDW - where would you spend a week in December?

We will have the second week in December to go on a five-day vacation. We are thinking about HH or VB - how is the weather in either place during that time of year? Would there be enough things to do at either place to keep us occupied (Myself, 25, and DH, 36)? Any advice/experiences would be appreciated!

wdw - might be a little cool but the decorations are amazing and the crowds usually aren't too bad yet.

the down side is that many owners book december stays 11 months in advance so there might not be much if anything left at wdw at this point.

HHI would probably be cooler but the seafood is probably still good...

Vero would probably have the best weather. But if you want to just relax (probably no beach) Hilton Head has wonderful restaurants. If you were lucky maybe you could do a couple of nights at WDW (very popular that time of the year for DVC) and a few at Vero to mix it up.

Hilton Head most likely will be cold. You'll need jackets or sweatshirts for the beach. There won't be much activity as this is definitely a down season there. We tried it once in December and won't go back at that time of year.

The parks will have lots of things to do and lots of decorations. You can be as busy or relaxed as you would want.

Vero will be nice during mid-day, but cool in the morning and late afternoon.

If I had to choose, I'd choose the parks in Dec.

Hands down, WDW. My favorite time of the year. Christmas decorations and special programs add to the 'magic' and the crowds are a little lighter.

Vero Beach averages temps in the 70's during the day and 50's at night for the month of December. Too cool for swimming in the ocean for me. HHI is cooler temps average in the 60's and low in the 40's. It can really get cold there.

I'd vote for WDW if you can get a room because you can spend time at the different resorts seeing the holiday decor and keep warm if it's cold out.
