VB Beach Access change

Just FWIW, yesterday they started installing room key access gates on the boardwalk access to the resort. Guess they're trying to further deter unauthorized use of the pool facilities.

They had room key access when we were there on previous visits. I am talking about to the pool, not to the ocean. Is this what they are working on?
Are you saying to get to the boardwalk from the ocean?

Yes, the pool gate is still there. They are adding new gates on the boardwalk access to the beach.
