Just a couple of assorted questions:

1. We would like to go back to our hotel and order in pizza a few times when we are there. Are there any pizza places nearby? I'm hoping to snag a few coupons before we go to save $$ but wanted to know who delivered (and if they are any good!)

2. What are good rides to go on when it's busy? We're going to spend at least one or two weekend days at DL.

3. When it says that the park opens at 10am, does that mean that's when the gates open? Or can we actually get in the gates earlier? I saw someone mention in their trip report that they snuck around the side when the rope dropped... what's that about?

4. We are planning a day at Sea World and thought about maybe going on Saturday, so as to avoid a busy day at DL. How busy does SW get on the weekends?

5. In WDW they did a sort of parent switch-off for the rides a child couldn't go on (where the first parent goes on and the second parent gets a pass to get straight on instead of waiting in line again). Do they do this in DL?

6. Still waiting to hear if anyone knows how long the wait could be for seating at Ariel's Grotto on Sunday 4-5pm if we don't have PS.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

1. Don't know about area pizza places.

2. Weekends are good show days, I think. Things like Tiki Room, The First 50 Years, and other show/attractions will only have the wait until the next showtime. Of course, still make use of FP and you'll still get on some of the big rides.

3. 10 am opening means the gates open at 9:30. They'll have a rope across Main Street between the Photo store and the Corner Cafe and that will drop at 10am (actually a little before, but there's plenty of security there to make sure no one goes anywhere until the opening spiel has played).

4. SW can get busy (esp if it's summer), but it's mostly about the shows anyway and the show arenas are pretty big, so you'll still be able to see those w/o a problem. There are a couple of rides and the lines for those can get pretty long.

5. Yes, they do this at DL also. They either send the second parent through the FP line or through the wheelchair entrance if there's a different entrance for wheelchairs.

6. If the PS's are gone, you likely wouldn't be able to get a table at all.

Thank you for your answers. I talked to the lady while trying to make PS reservations and she said that they try to seat everyone, including those without PS reservations. Anyone ever done it this way?

Oh, I guess I should have mentioned the dates we're going too, especially for the SW question ... we'll be there from Feb 26 - Mar 5.

We did Ariel's Grotto without a PS but that was before it was the Princesses and had to wait about an hour by just walking up... So it does happen but like I said that was before it was the lovely gals... I have made PS for them this time around because we want to see them for sure!!

I think I got most of the questions answered. I'm just looking to hear about delivery pizza joints near Disneyland and how busy Sea World is on the weekends in February. Thanks!

Your hotel should have a list of pizza places. A lot of people use them. As far as riding with kids or without, ask the cast member at the entrance for a baby swap pass.

SW should be ok.............we went on a Saturday in Aug and it was busy but not miserable like it would be at Disney........Shows hold so many people and the rides can get long but move quite quickly, I know there is a pizza Hut in the area I just can't for the life of me think of what the street name is but very close to the Marriot residence inn Resort area.

I think the pizza place we order from is called Round Table Pizza and also Shakey's is really good.
