Vape pens and smoking in park?

With the new vape pens smokers are using now are they allowed to use them in park? In line?

Various CMs have told me that smoking (cigarettes or vape pens) is allowed only in the designated smoking areas. It is not allowed outside those areas or in lines.

I saw a CM chase a guy to 'remind' him to get to a designated smoking area. Does anyone know where the designated smoking area is in DCA? I think I may have accidentally tried to chase some very polite smokers away from it... But I am not sure...

Over by GRR. If you are headed towards the ride from Paradise Pier. Take a right at the water wheel. I take that path a lot when the path by GRR is really crowded.
