Okay, here's a short update after some delay. My computer finally got back yesterday, but they ended up reinstalling my harddrive, so I have been reloading programs and files to get my computer up and running again.
Wedding morning continued~
The limo for the guys picked them up at POR at 7:00 a.m.
My MOH took a bunch of things over to their room including the CD player for a couple of songs during the ceremony and reception along with the glow necklaces for the dessert party shortly before they left. Meanwhile, we finished getting ready in the room; this was around the time I got in my dress.
Here are some pictures of the guys arriving at Epcot; I don't have any real details about their arrival except that there was a problem with the limos. Apparently one of the limo drivers hit something "backstage" by the AAR on the way out which created a big traffic jam there. The limos in turn were late to pick us up at POR around 7:40.
A good shot of Spaceship Earth and the AAR that morning:
The limo pulling up from backstage:
Notice the groomsmen carrying everything that we sent over with them
Kris and his best man checking out their boutonneires in the mirror:
Shots in Italy:
I love the boat in this one-
I will post some more pictures of the guys pre-ceremony tomorrow.
During this time, Marion had arrived at the rotunda and called me because they could not find the sand ceremony set. After I gave her a detailed description she sent someone back to Disney Floral who found it in the boxes that we had sent them the week before. This was the second time I spoke to Marion that morning and it was only 7:30 a.m.
Another side track with the limos was that our friend who was singing at the ceremony was supposed to ride with the guys in the limo so he could meet the pianist to practice. Well, he thought he could drive his own car over there and took off. Since it was backstage he would not have been allowed through security (in-park weddings require chartered transportation like the buses and limos that we had for everyone). We had to have his wife (my matron of honor) track him down by phone to make sure he got back to the resort in time to ride with us.
