Which Sheraton hotel is closest to the port? Found some SPG points so thinking of using them to stay the day before our cruise.

Sheraton Wall Centre on Burrard is the one you want. It isn't walkable, but a short cab ride. I would guess about 1.5 miles away. Nice hotel, we have stayed there several times

Agreed.... Walk to Robson or Davie for restaurant options.

It's easily walkable. I mean, you're going on a cruise, you have bags, you probably budgeted for a cab, so take the cab, but if there was a cabbie strike, you could get yourself there without too much hassle.

DS and I spent hours the other week walking all around downtown Vancouver.

Thanks for the info. I think we will book it today. We will be driving up do will park there then go down and park by the ship that morning.

We stayed there 2 years ago. It's walking distance to the port (for me) if you had 1 bag. It's downhill to the port. Otherwise, it's a short and cheap cab ride.

We loved the hotel. There are some great views and you're close to so much. If you stay there, be sure to check out "Mean Poutine" which is just a couple of blocks away (near Granville Street) from the hotel.

I can't wait to go back to Vancouver!
