Vancouver DCL Disembark times

What time can you disembark in Vancouver?

I was on dcl first ever one way Hawaii cruise. We woke up decided to go eat breakfast near the port to see the ship. The ship wasn’t there. We waited wondering what was going on. A half hour past until we could finally see the ship coming. So this was on the last Alaska cruise of 2015. Doesn’t answer your question but it doesn’t get in early unless this wasn’t the norm.
Been to long since I have been on a dcl Alaska cruise to remember the time as I was on DCL first ever Alaska cruise.

Update- looking at photos from September 7 2015 it looks like the ship got to port around 7:05. The last picture I have was at 7:03 and they are only a few feet away from the dock.

As a side note, we were on a DCL transfer to the airport where a bunch of people were going to miss their flight because the ship took a bit to clear, and getting luggage took a bit, and the bus driver got lost (literally) trying to get to the terminal. Long story short they had an 11:30am flight and they missed it. Vancouver for us that trip seemed to have the most issues we've ever seen on debarkation morning. It was the first cruise of the season, so that may have been some of the kinks.

I have no idea what time the ship usually disembarks in Vancouver but word to the wise, allow a lot of time before a flight. Between clearing Canadian customs at disembarkation, getting to the airport, getting through airport security and US customs, you really do want to allow a lot of time.

We sailed on the wonder from Vancouver on 8/5/19 and had an early flight at 1230. We got an early departure group and we’re off the ship by 820, right after having breakfast in the main dining room. Express walk off group could depart a little after 8. There were virtually no lines at customs or the cab stand. We were in a cab and on our way to the airport at 835. Airport was quick, too and we had time to have a sit down lunch before boarding.

I was on the Wonder cruise in Alaska that ended 8/19/19. I believe you could walk off starting at 7:30 am. I was in an early departure group also, and left the ship at 8:30 am. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 1230pm as well but left at 1240 and we got there with plenty of time to spare.

We were on the cruise after Tazj. Same thing, early walk off was available at 0730 for those who kept all of their luggage with them. Those using the color/character tags waited for their color to be called when their bags were ready. All of us had to be off by 0930.

Breakfast, if you are staying for it, was 0715 for those with early dining or 0830 for those of us with the second seating. Our table mates spoke to the Head Waiter because they had an early flight. Kendall told them to come at 0715 and he would take care of them. These times were for Animators Palate, I think one on the other MDRs had slightly different times, maybe 15 minutes earlier?

We were on the cruise that disembarked in Vancouver on 7-8-19. I actually took detailed notes with times:

7:35am - express walk off announced
7:49am - done with breakfast (first seating @ Tiana’s Place) and waiting comfortably in Azure
8:35am - purple Minnie tags called (our tags)
8:53am - found all of our luggage and in line for bus to airport (booked transfer through Disney)
9:00am - sitting on bus
9:12am - bus is full & leaving for airport
9:53am - arrive at stop for international terminal & Fairmont YVR
9:57am - luggage unloaded and we are heading towards Fairmont (guaranteed 10:00am early check in)
10:16am - in our hotel room relaxing

We were on the last Alaska cruise in May. We had first seating breakfast and had to wait around quite a long time past second seeting- by far the longest I have ever had to wait on DCL. I believe it wasn't until around 9 am that they called our group. It ultimately didn't matter that much to us because we were staying in Vancouver for a few days. However, if you have to catch an earlier flight I would definitely do the early walk off.
