Vancouver airport : airport lounge

Do you mean the Plaza Premuim Lounge or one of the airline lounges (I think WestJet and Air Canada have lounges at YVR)? The airline lounges are standard airline lounges, I've never been in the Plaza Premium Lounge but it looks nice.

TBH would like reviews for any lounge that allows BA flights to use :)
We are only economy
International flight back to london :)

Do you have status with BA? Are you flying First or Club World?

If you are flying First or Club World, you will have access to the Galleries Club and/or Galleries First lounge.

If you are oneWold Emerald or Sapphire (BA Gold/GGL, BA Silver), you can go to the Cathy Pacific lounge (business lounge for Sapphire and first lounge for Emerald), which will probably be nicer than the BA club lounge. Cathay lounges are usually pretty awesome.

Hi

No just economy :) back to london

Don't have any "status with ba" so just looking to pay

I'd be right there in the back of the bus with you! I fly a lot (sometimes enough to get me into the Business lounge before I settle into my economy seat) but my employer doesn't have the budget for First or Business airfares.

For paid lounges, it looks like the Plaza Premium Lounge that I linked earlier is available. It's a slightly staggering $180 (CAD, I hope) for up to four people, but they do have showers and nap rooms plus included food and bar service. If I were going to be at the airport for a very long layover, I might consider it.

We visited a lounge at YVR- I honestly am not sure if it is the Plaza Premium lounge or not… we went to the lounge that was the Priority Pass affiliate which we get free access to using the Platinum Amex card. The lounge we visited was quite pitiful and we actually preferred hanging out in the terminal by Starbucks much more… with our two little ones. Cant speak for the other lounges. However, I really did like YVRs airport and I didn't feel like I need to "escape the terminal" like at some airports where the terminals are hectic and crowded (like a recent pass through DFW where the lounge was a lifesaver). Enjoy your cruise!!!

We've done the Plaza Premium lounge. (I'm pretty sure that's the one!) it was a nice quiet place to relax between flights. There's a little buffet and drinks. It's pricy though. If DHs company wasn't paying I might have passed!!

Good call. I always forget about Priority Pass. That website does list the Plaza Premium Lounges as their affiliate at YVR.

Just a suggestion: If you need some where to crash for a few hours, Fairmont Hotel Airport has day rooms and is connected to the airport. My daughter and I are doing the Alaskan cruise
Aug. 17th and booked a day room here for 159.00 CAD for 6 hours (on Aug. 24th). There is a 8 hour option also. Day rooms can be booked on their website or by calling. Our flight was not leaving until
4:30 and needed somewhere comfortable to hang out.
