We are doing a split stay with a few nights at PoP over New Years, and then the rest of the week at AKL starting Jan 2nd (AP rate, yippee!). A couple of weeks ago we added a few days at PoP so we could have more time to relax at AKL. We had wanted ASM for the value since we've already stayed at PoP and ASMu, but it wasn't available when I called. I've been checking online occasionally for the last week in hopes something would open up, but availability has gotten tighter and tighter.

Then a few days ago, the Values weren't available at all, and it's stayed that way ever since. Looks like things are going to be very busy!

Are we crazy to stay at PoP when it's totally full? We have a plan we can live with for the parks that weekend (AK on NYE has worked well for us in the past) but are the resort and busses going to be the worst part of it?

Anyone been at PoP when it has been totally full? What is it like? TIA!

It could just mean there are no more rooms with the AP discount. Did you check without using the AP discount ? ( always find it hard to believe any Resort is sold out, even for NYE)

I just pulled up a res Dec 26-Jan 2 at Pop. Perhaps it's a minimum stay issue, if you're just looking at reservations for a day or two?

Hmmmm it must be a minimum length of stay thing... Cause if I check 12/26-1/2 instead of 12/30-1/2 I do see space at PoP and ASMu.
