I found this earlier & in actual fact this "Room" looks quite roomy despite it being "Classed" as a "Value Studio"

That room is just down the hall from the value studio I stayed in last year. I was interested in seeing the type of desk she had. Mine had a round table, like this-

Actually the more i look at the video the more that this "Studio" is appealing to me
Look's cosy & Unique
Are the Value Studios the same size as the standard AKL rooms?
Even if they are i still think they look "Roomy & Unique"

Yes they are the same size as the AKL hotel rooms on floors 2-4. They took an AKL room, removed the large closet and put in a kitchenette. The 2-sink vanity and the bathroom are exactly the same. In AKL rooms the connecting door is always in the entryway. In some AKV studios the connecting door is in the living area instead. The furnishings are a bit different, but very similar except for the sleeper sofa that replaces either the second queen bed or bunk beds that you would get in an AKL room. Are the Value Studios the same size as the standard AKL rooms?

As Maria points out, they seem to have lost about 30 square feet after the conversion but I can't see where it went!
Still i think they are FANTASTIC VALUE
For what they are
& they look cosy
But in a "Cute" way

. It is a good value but quite cozy. I cannot imagine having more than 2 with little place to put luggage. A twin mattress would not have fit at the end of the double maybe in the hall, but that would block access to the door and bathroom.I noticed a difference in the bathrooms between ours in 5016 and my inlaws in 5035. They had a double sink and a much larger counter, while we had a single sink and much smaller counter. Huge bathroom to chuck luggage in.![]()
I think you mean room 5116? Room 5016 is a Value dedicated studio with a pool view, room 5116 is a Value 1BR with a Sunset savanna view. There is no room 5035.I noticed a difference in the bathrooms between ours in 5016 and my inlaws in 5035. They had a double sink and a much larger counter, while we had a single sink and much smaller counter. Huge bathroom to chuck luggage in.
We put a car seat, booster seat and luggage in the main kitchen closet. Stuffed another piece of luggage beside the washer/dryer in the main hallway and put our luggage under the main bed and had plenty of space for our clothes and the kids clothes in the drawers in the living room and bedroom. Strollers were put near the door in the "lock-off door" section as there's a little "notch" to put your shoes and stuff as well. Never had a lack of places to put stuff!
