Value Resorts filled?

I've tried to book our family for a trip in mid to late January. The All Star resorts (except Pop) are not available for 2 to 3 weeks. Is there that many people that usually go in January or is something special going on? I spoke to Disney rep. today and they thought it was unusual for all resorts except for Pop Century to be filled during those dates. Anybody have any info?

i booked at POP for 1/19 - 1/28 but I did not try the other values. In fact I am about to upgrade hopefully to CBR or POR.

DH and I are going at that same time, and we had a hard time getting into a value. We were finally able to get a room at Pop. Apparently between the marathon, a major conference, and the Martin Luther King weekend, the values are packed. Hope you find something.

That is a suprise. Dh and I were there mid/end of Jan this year and the parks were deserted! BUT it was cold... I wore hat scarf and gloves on several days...

Really hope you get to book somewhere!

Thanks for the info. Does anyone have any information about the last week in January (28 Monday week)? There is only 2 value resorts available.

Numerous room cancellations occur on a daily basis. Call back over a couple of days and something will open up.

The WDW resorts are never fully booked. Room blocks can open up at almost any time.

There are always the early reservations that don't make it once the holiday season (and costs) hit. Keep calling--something will open up! ASMo here we come June 08
