Hello all, do the Same trams run to all of the resorts, or do they have certain trams that only go to the same resort? Also during magic hours do the trams run with the extra times?. Last question, do you get free parking at the parks if your are staying at the resorts? I never stayed at the resort before?

You no longer get free parking even if you stay at the resorts. Resort fee is dependent on which resort you are staying at.

The value resorts (particularly the All-Star Resorts) will usually share the same bus during the bulk of the day. The only time when you are mostly guaranteed your own bus is when you are being picked up from the parks at around closing time to return to your resort.

Pop Century and AoA have their own separate bus lines. I dunno of any occasions in which they would share.

Disney has a transportation system that includes buses, boats and monorails. Which form of transportation you get depends on the resort. All Disney owned resorts and the Dolphin and Swan are served by this transportation system, and all of them offer service to all four Disney Parks, Disney Springs, and the two water parks.

Yes, you get free parking at the theme parks if you stay at a disney resort, but you will be charged for parking at your resort per night of stay if you have a vehicle. That amount depends on the level of resort.

By "trams" do you actually mean "buses"? There are no trams (open air vehicles used for short distances) running at the Value Resorts.

Buses can be dedicated to a single resort or they may pick up passengers at multiple resorts. It all depends on the demand but the AllStar resorts tend to share a bus during all but the most busy times. Buses begin running an hour before scheduled park opening. For morning EMH, they will start an hour before.

Parking at the theme parks is free for onsite guests but you will pay a nightly fee to park your vehicle at your resort overnight.

if staying at a on site resort, theme park parking is free. There is an overnight parking fee for staying at on site resort.

During magic hours, there is free Disney transportation to park and back to the resort. Depending on which resort you decide to stay, and which park you are wishing to visit. These are transportation option: bus, boats, monorail and soon the skyliner.

The buses usually go back and forth to one resort at a time. If it's during non busy times resorts may share a bus (POR and POFQ) and the All Star Resorts.

Yes buses/trams, sorry I call all transportation at these places trams lol. We are staying at the low budget movie resort. Just trying to figure out what kinda system they run in advance

Anyone know how much the parking fee is

The fee for resort parking as a WDW resort guest is as follows:

For reservations made before June 18, 2019 for arrivals in 2019 or 2020:

  • Disney Value Resorts: $13 per night
  • Disney Moderate Resorts: $19 per night
  • Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $24 per night
For reservations made June 18, 2019 and thereafter for arrivals in 2020:

  • Disney Value Resorts: $15 per night
  • Disney Moderate Resorts: $20 per night
  • Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $25 per night

The poster asked about free parking at the parks. That is free is you are staying on property.
You are paying a daily parking fee at the resort so your paying to park your car, they just aren’t making you pay twice when you move your car to the theme park lots. I can’t understand how people can call this free parking

Not quite. The parking fee is different at each resort level and does not reflect the price of theme park parking, which is $25 per day for day guests.

It is two different things.
I don’t see it like that at all. The way I see it is you are paying to park at the resort which now includes parking at the theme parks so your paying for it. Your just getting a discount if your at a value because your paying 15 for your parking day as opposed to 25

Except that you are charged that nightly resort parking fee whether you drive to a theme park that day or leave it in the resort parking lot.
